Justin Moore Planning Hometown Fundraiser

The Country Vibe reports: “Justin Moore, who is from Poyen, Arkansas, has wanted to organize a hometown event to raise money for charity, and it looks like 2012 may be the year he’ll get it started.  “I kinda wanted to wait until I had what I thought was a legitimate platform instead of just going down there and raising a few hundred dollars, which every little bit counts.”  Now that he’s had some success and could attract more attention to an event and raise more money he says, “We’ve been trying to find a date for it.”  Plus he’s already started enlisting friends.  Justin boasts, “Darius [Rucker] owes me a bet.  We bet on the South Carolina/Arkansas game last year, so he lost it so he’s gotta come do a charity event for free for me.  F-R-E-E, free.  We just gotta find a date.”  As a father of two healthy little girls Justin will likely choose St. Jude as the beneficiary of his event because he says, “I’ve got a soft place in my heart for that place and those kids.  I mean I’ve been able to go down and visit those kids and see that.  And if that don’t touch your life and change you then you’ve got something wrong with you.””

Toadlick Music Festival is proud to present such a sharing heart with folks in March 2012! See you at Toadlick!

National Peanut Festival – Day 7

We are certain the fine folks that host the National Peanut Festival were impressed with the size of last night’s crowds. The line of cars streaming into the Fairgrounds seemed endless. We want to thank everyone that stopped by the Toadlick Music Festival exhibit. They registered for free tickets, spun the wheel for free Toadlick t-shirts, competed in Toadlick cornhole tournaments, looked over the Toadlick corvette that will be given away on March 24th, and listened to our artists’ music all night long. The enthusiasm was overwhelming!

National Peanut Festival – Day 5

The Fair was the place to be Tuesday night. From our vantage point at the Toadlick Music Festival exhibit, we witnessed thousands of vehicles streaming into the Fairgrounds all evening long. The venue was packed and the Toadlick Girls enjoyed meeting and greeting all those who stopped by to discover the details of Toadlick. Alongside the Toadlick Girls Tuesday evening were the lovely Ashford High School Cheerleaders. We want to thank these beautiful young ladies for their enthusiasm and assistance. Y’all rock!

If you have not yet liked us on Facebook, we encourage you to do so. Last night we hid stuffed toads around the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds and posted clues on Facebook to their hiding places. The two lucky toad-finders who won free tickets to Toadlick are pictured below.

Congratulations Ladies!

We had so much fun with this giveaway, we will be doing it again this evening. Visit our Facebook page here, like us, and stay tuned for clues.

See you the Fair fellow toadlickers!

National Peanut Festval – Day 4

What a night! The Toadlick Music Festival exhibit was again swamped with visitors. Folks had an opportunity to view the 2011 Corvette we will be giving away, they registered for free tickets, and everyone spun the wheel to win free Toadlick t-shirts. Imagine our chagrin when four of the first six spinners won! If you are planning a visit to the Fair this year, stop by and see us as we have a few surprises in store for you.

Do we have any Cornhole aficionados out there? Challenge our champs, Trip Smith and Chris Gilbert, for a chance to win free tickets to Toadlick.

To find Toadlick’s exhibit, simply walk in the main entrance and head straight south towards the Wells Fargo Arena. We are on the right just before you reach the Arena. You will hear us before you see us as our fifteen artists’ music is playing all the time. Y’all come!

National Peanut Festival – Day 3

Hello Toadlickers! Our third day at the Peanut Festival was marvelous. Those working the Toadlick exhibit saw many old friends and had ample opportunities to meet new ones. We are so tickled with the positive response from the community and look forward to seeing you all again at Toadlick.

As an exhibitor at the Fairgrounds, we must give kudos to the staff of the National Peanut Festival. They have fine tuned service and efficiency to an art. The traffic runs smoothly, the security is superb, the grounds are immaculately kept, and they insure their patrons have a wonderful experience. We would like to thank them sincerely for their professionalism and kindness. What a grand organization!

If you have not yet visited the fair this year, we encourage to do so. In between the rides, the food, and the fun, please stop by and see us at the Toadlick exhibit.

Sara Evans will be performing “Stronger” than ever at Toadlick

Six years after her last studio album, Sara Evans is back with Stronger, “a landmark record filled with the kind of gutsy explorations on life and love that have made Evans one of the most compelling female vocalists of her generation”. See Sara Evans at Toadlick Music Festival in Dothan, Alabama.
